About Ashley 

Hello, my name is Ashley Ryan I'm so happy you found me <3

I started my photography journey when my second child Sebastian was 3 months old (Sept 2007) his nickname was little pea from the very first ultrasound I had with him at just 6 weeks along, so his pictures I did at 3 months he was in his Pea Pod costume so the name stuck, today you will find 4 pea's on my logo for my 4 kiddos! I followed my dream and opened my studio in my hometown of Archbold Ohio in March of 2011, its been a crazy wonderful adventure ever since then! 

Let me tell you a little about myself! I'm married to a wonderful man named John who also works full time with me and is the man behind the computer making all the final images the best they can be! We have 4 amazing kiddos and 1 wonderful son-in-law that keep us pretty busy! When I'm not out capturing smiles, I'm hanging with them! I'am a go with the flow type of person, I love just being home with my family watching movies or playing board games. We have collection of more than 100 of them and are always searching for new ones! I can almost always be found with an iced coffee in my hand! It really is my love language ;) I love traveling and hope to one day make my way out of the United States! I would choose a hike over the beach any day of the week as well! I’d like to tell you I love books but I start one and never finish it, maybe because I have the attention span of a child ;) I have lots and lots of tattoos and am always wanting more of them and feel its a great way to express what is happening in my life right then and make the moment stand still for a little bit! You will never see me wear shoes in my studio because I hate them with a passion! It’s been that way since I can remember!

Newborns are by far my favorite thing to photograph and I have spent countless hours taking courses on baby safety to assure your newborn is always the safest possible! But I do love meeting all the new people through every session I have and could never see myself only photographing newborns because of that <3
